Got a shock when I realised that it’s SIX weeks since we did our last ‘daily’ blog!! Why? Well the simple answer is that everybody at Workhouse has just been too busy. We are very happy that virtually all our clients are positive and active and communicating with their customers effectively on a regular basis. But even with 20+ staff our blogging, social networking, new website and new business campaigns have had to assume less importance than our main priority which is to delight our clients. Basically customers come first.
We have just passed our financial year end (June 30th) and are in the process of finalising our management accounts for the year, and with fingers crossed we think it’s been one of the best yet. More on this when the jury has finished it’s deliberations.
Our next financial year, will encompass the 20th Anniversary of when Nita and I started the business back in January 1992, and I’m sure there will be a celebration of sorts to recognise the landmark. Before then we have just celebrated the marriage of Campo. Mark wed his bride Clare on 11th June with a fantastic reception and party at Mitton Hall. Jen is due to give birth to second baby on 13th of this month, and Grez and Kat are due for their first on 13th August (which is a full moon!). Our new Digital Account Manager Christine will also be celebrating her forthcoming wedding to Adam. And I do believe James will be marrying Debra in the next 12 months, who is a lovely girl….and a model….and from Brazil….lucky boy!

Talking of lucky boys, Workhouse Studios is currently providing photography for Live Magazines and Woody is chuffed to bits at the moment as his shots have been used for the front covers of both Live Ribble Valley Magazine and Live Preston Magazine this month.
